Winner of Packaging Design & Materials
On 21 March 2025, during the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna event, the finalists of the ‘Beauty Oscars 2025’ event were selected.
For the occasion...
…Beautystream, together with the members of the technical jury, examined over 800 types of products developed by 17 various companies, selecting the best innovative contributions. in the six dedicated categories.
In the six categories, the jury identified FR&PARTNERS for the innovative contribution of COMPlux as the winner of the ‘Design and materials’ category.
𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗹𝘂𝘅 is the first compact make-up that uses UVC technology to guarantee a hygienic and safe product. Once the product has been used, the sponge applicator is replaced in its housing, which begins the sanitisation process when closed, guaranteeing greater product safety.
Complux adds an additional plus in terms of sustainability: the ‘interchangeability’ of the pan, increasing the life cycle of the packaging.

It is well known that beauty blenders are easy to contaminate because after use they create a fertile ground for bacteria. The problem is even worse for people with a weakened immune system, for whom the risk of infection is amplified.
At this point there is a study by Aston University published in the Journal of Applied Microbiology, which basically found very high levels of contamination in the study carried out on the applicators.
In this regard, the award given to FR&PARTNERS is merited because it examines this problem of applicators. In the specific case of this new ‘intelligent’ packaging it is even more critical because it is a sterilisation system that acts inside the packaging itself
